About Us

At Yacine Geeks, our mission is simple: provide every Android user with fast, safe, and verified APK downloads — with zero guesswork and zero risk. We believe trustworthy software distribution should be free and accessible to everyone, regardless of technical expertise or location

Founder bio — Raed Yusuf

raed yusuf

Raed Yusuf founded Yacine Geeks after years of frustration watching family and friends download malware-ridden APKs from unreliable sources. With a background in Android development and cybersecurity, he built this platform around a single principle: every file published here must meet the same security standard he would apply to his own devices.

Raed personally oversees the verification pipeline, writes the technical guides, and manages relationships with the developer communities that keep the channel lists updated. He has been covering Android applications and streaming technology since 2018.

Security verification process

Every APK file published on Yacine Geeks passes a four-stage verification process before the download link goes live. This process exists because we understand the risks associated with third-party APK distribution and take full responsibility for every file hosted here.

Stage 1: Source verification

We obtain APKs directly from official developer channels, Telegram groups maintained by the original developers, or trusted mirror sources with a documented history. No file from an unverifiable origin is accepted.

Stage 2: Antivirus scan

Each APK is uploaded to VirusTotal and scanned against 70+ antivirus engines simultaneously. Files flagging on more than one engine are discarded and never published, regardless of the perceived false-positive rate.

Stage 3: Permission audit

We review the app’s declared Android permissions using APK analyser tools. Any permission that seems excessive or inconsistent with the app’s stated function is flagged for manual investigation before approval.

Stage 4: Device testing

The APK is installed and run on a clean test device for a minimum of 24 hours. We monitor network traffic, battery behaviour, and background process activity before publishing.

Editorial standards & transparency

Yacine Geeks is an independent publication. We do not accept payment to feature or promote any application. Every APK featured on this site is reviewed on its own merits — security, reliability, and usefulness to our audience.

When an app is updated by its developer, we re-run the full four-stage verification process on the new build before updating the download link. Old versions remain archived but are clearly labelled to prevent users from installing outdated files unknowingly.

If you discover a security issue with any file hosted on this site, please contact us immediately using the email address on our Contact page. We take all reports seriously and commit to investigating and responding within 48 hours
